The Creation of the Golem

It was on that cold and eerie night when BC Zevi had his campers, one by one, slip out of the bunk house under the cover of darkness, and regroup at the haunted cemetery at the outskirts of camp, where he was to put to the test his newly-acquired powers (legend attributes it to intense study under the guidance of the Mashpia).

They gathered at the cemetery where they formed as a circle, each clasping his fellows hand, forming a Kabalistic circuit. Then, following the utterance by Zevi of some cryptic passages, and accompanied by a hail of fiery projectiles, he finally emerged... our very own Yessel Der Golem (a.k.a. Reb Yid).

The following fascinating photos document this historic (others say calamitous) event:

Giving the faint-hearted one last chance to turn back...
The soil from which the limbs were formed.
The fiery flashes begin. Some scatter in fright, as Zevi tries calming the masses.
The fearless remain to watch.
The zero-hour moment. Spectators thrown to their feet.
Takes time to acquaint and mingle.
Posing with their (fellow) Golem.
After realizing they're one of the same, he joins the rank and file (all the while, still spewing sparks).
