WOW, What A Week
(first week article)
Wow, what a week, I mean it definitely felt like an amazing, smashing, bombastic week in SGP. Its starting to get to me, when my brother tried convincing me to come here, he told me how the sports, trips, staff, grounds etc. are all incredible, and that SGP is just the best program. And I must say he is so right!
I’m sure you think the same as me, but in my opinion I have the best counselor, as soon as Dovber announced the bunks and my counselor, I felt completely at home, my counselor first made sure that me and all my bunk mates had all that we need, and constantly kept coming over to me and asking if there is anything else he can do for me.
Of course there is no need to elaborate any further about our fantastic staff, but about our amazing program I’d like to mention, it’s no secret that 3 of our devoted staff are back in SGP although they were here in SGP before, and they say it’s because there is no other program quite like SGP, just like my brother always says.
When I flashback the past fifty five hours, what comes to my mind is the competitive sports, and then going bowling right on the FIRST full day of camp, the BBQ, and those burgers were just great my gosh, and finely the Kumzitz with and everybody sitting together like family. After lights out when my counselor finishes the story, I start thinking to myself what excitement awaits us the next morning? What is in store for us the coming month? And what kind of bombastic summer will follow?

As other camps are first getting their head staff together, we almost have all our staff already!
We're proud to annouce that the one-and-only Dovi Blasberg will be coming to the best program on earth: EGP as a counselor!
Dovi is world-famous, and we are very lucky to have him come to us this summer (and he's lucky too, joining the best program ever!)
Dovi was a counselor in GAN 2 years ago (in fact he was Shaiky's counselor!) and did an amazing job, and was loved by everyone!

Where is Levi?
Levi has been helping the Shliach Rabbi Asman in Kiev Ukraine.
It has been proven that Chayolei gets from the most devoted staff, even the elite (head staff) flying anywhere in the world to help Chabad institutions, from Cincinnati OH,.................. to Kiev Ukraine you can always rely on the Chayolei staff "made from the best stuff on earth". Yes, Menachem succeed
Every day Dovber has been receiving at least 12 phone calls from him, one day Pif put it in blunt words "Dovber we must, if I have to I'll personally come down to Cincinnati to Shlep you back to Crown Heights", you see, dovber as always when he puts himself to something he is there all the way, and so it was hard but finally Menachem came down to Cinci and with dovbers last good byes to his students Menachem hit on the gas, and down to the air port they went to work on the best summer ever.
P.S. the story is only starting, and my presence is not needed for I guaranty, and fully endorse this coming summer as "The Summer Of Your Lifetime"

New camp CD soon in the stores
A new Chayolei CD 'Holding Hands United' will soon be in the stores. The CD has 9 songs with lyrics composed in camp over the past few years. Obviously the SGP hit of 'Rebbe ill Do It" is included as well.(To read some more information click here)

Where are you by Adar dancing?
Happiness and joy were always a central motif in the daily life of a chosid, especially in the month of Adar which is the month happiness. In the later years, in addiction to the general Adar happiness, the Rebbe added dancing.
It started in 5752 (1992) what was as well a leap year (as this year) with two Adars (60 days). The Rebbe spoke over and over about the idea of "Bitul Beshishim", Halachically speaking it means that something prohibited can become permitted in a case that it is between 60 that are permitted. The same said Rebbe we can learn concerning negative things that we can nullify them through Simcha, this is especially this year when Adar has 60 days.
After what had happened to the Rebbe's health that years on 27 Adar Alef the chasidim suddenly understood to what the Rebbe was referring to. And like spontaneously chasidim in 770 and from all around the world started dancing.
Dancing every night of Adar started earlier that Adar, especially after the Rebbe's strong answer and support to the organizers of the dancing, but as above, the daily dancing was much stronger implemented after 27 Adar Alef that year, and from 770 to all the Yeshives an communities around the world.
